Cosmeceuticals

Cosmeceuticals, what are they?    They are a class of skincare products that contain biologically active ingredients capable of exerting physiologic changes to the skin.   Sometimes referred to "medical grade," skincare,  Invigorate has teamed up with one of the finest American based  compounding pharmacies to offer products that just don't just make your skin look better temporarily, but can actually create changes in your skins DNA.  Our products contain active ingredients that change the physical structure and workings of the skin. And they have real science backing these claims.  No fancy packaging, wrappings or perfumed scents,  just medical grade skin care that works, with the science to back it. Most of our product line does not need a prescription.

Trio cosmetic has  the same ingredients as above with the addition of Argireline, and Leuphasyl, which has been shown to work synergistically to reduce the depth in appearance of wrinkles. Trio Cosmetic significantly reduces pro-inflammatory cytokines which promote inflammation. The TMH Trio Cosmetic has also been used to increase collagen synthesis.

GHK-Cu acts directly on fibroblasts by increasing production of mRNA and protein for collagen, elastin, proteoglycans, glycosaminoglycans, and decorin; all of which are critical components in tissue repair and maintenance. Further, it acts to stimulate the production of metalloproteases and protease inhibitors which function to remove damaged tissue proteins. Together these functions increase the function of the cellular machinery and scaffolding to initiate repair and healthier tissue.

PTD-DBM and Valproic Acid

Androgenetic alopecia is the most common type of hair loss in men and women.

The Wnt/b-catenin pathway has been implicated in hair follicle development and hair

regeneration in adults. Wnt/b-catenin activators like Valproic Acid promote human hair cell proliferation. CXXC5 is a negative regulator of the Wnt/b-catenin pathway which was upregulated in human balding scalps. However, scientists have found a way to black this negative feedback using PTD-DBM. This peptide, PTD-DBM, is often used as a part of larger hair protocols in conjunction with other peptides such as GHK-Cu, Zn-Thymulin, and Thymosin Beta with tremendous results.

Zn-thymulin

Zn-thymulin is a combination of zinc and a nonapeptide called thymulin used for hair loss. Zinc is an essential element and serum zinc deficiency can cause hair loss,Thymulin’s activity on the hair follicle was recently published in an in vitro study where several thymic peptides and showed thymulin could extend the anagen phase of the hair follicle. Serum thymulin concentrations are critically dependent on the presence of zinc. GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper complex that was first identified in human plasma, but has since been found in multiple locations such as saliva and urine. GHK-Cu has a variety of roles in the human body including promotion of wound healing, anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, stimulating collagen synthesis in skin fibroblasts, promoting blood vessel growth and hair follicle stimulation. The concentration of GHK-Cu in the body decreases with age.

Latisse

Latisse eyelash growth treatment is a prescription treatment for hypotrichosis, or inadequate eye lash growth. The quick and simple once-daily application of Latisse eyelash growth to the base of the upper eyelashes is all that it takes to grow more beautiful long lashes.

By extending the growth (anagen) phase of the eye lash lifecycle, Latisse allows for more eyelash growth for a longer period of time, creating longer, thicker and more beautiful eyelashes.

Latisse users can experience thicker, more youthful eyelashes in as little as six weeks, with full results in 16 weeks. To maintain the results, continued eyelash growth treatment with Latisse lash thickener is recommended.

PhytoCream Eyelash Enhancement

Phytocream eyelash enhancement is an alternative treatment for eyelash growth.  Unlike Latisse, which uses bimatoprost, the active ingredient is Latanoprost, which is also s a F2-alpha prostaglandin analog. Both are effective.  Some clients think the Phytocream last longer is as effective and is less expensive.
